Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages

The Commissioner of Official Languages of Canada is an agent of Parliament whose mandate is to promote Canadian linguistic duality and oversee the full implementation of the Official Languages Act. The Office of the Commissioner of Official Languages (OCOL) has developed a wide variety of tools and resources for Canadian teachers and parents. These tools can be used in various subject areas, such as learning English or French as a first or second language, social studies and history.
