The Ontario Modern Language Teachers’ Association (OMLTA) has been supporting French as a Second Language (FSL) and International Languages (IL) teachers of all programs and grade-levels since 1886. The association has been hosting annual spring conferences since that time, as well as regional fall conferences since 1955. Today, the OMLTA continues to support FSL and IL teachers throughout the province through professional development resources and experiences, through advocacy, and by cultivating partnerships with other stakeholders in second language education.
